Keep these essentials in your closet at all times and you will never have to worry about 'not having something to wear'. Mix and match the basics, and accessorize with color!  I personally prefer to wear natural colors and shapes that flatter my figure and then emphasize my style with statement necklaces, vests, and a great pair of shoes. Remember, you can take virtually any outfit from day to night simply just swap out your handbag and/or shoes, accessories, and go for a more dramatic look with your makeup.

since forever.

Since forever, I have always wanted to design my own wedding dress. Here is a sneak preview of one that I designed about a year ago. I have drawn many since, but I think this one remains my favorite.

 It's simple yet glamorous details remind me of fancy ball in the 1920s era. The front is a sweetheart neckline with trimmed, not tailored lace and a silk strap, strung through the neckline. The back is open in the shape of a diamond, outlined with lace.  Satin buttons line the back down to the train of the dress which has a modified mermaid silhouette.

apartmental.

If you live in Manhattan like I do, then you probably have no more than 600 sq. feet to work with when it comes to efficient decorating. The one phrase I often find myself saying is, "my closet is too small...I need more space". The best way to make space in your 'cozy' apartment is by adding shelving, drawers, coat hangers, and over the door mirrors. Did I just describe your dorm room in college? Sorry for that. Here is a great way to keep your place organized while creating room for you and your roommates without feeling like a freshman again.

arriving on the scene.

For a long time I have wanted to start a blog but I feared I would have nothing to say. Sometimes you just need to buck up and face your fears and just put yourself out there. My way of doing that is by showing you some of my drawings. Although they are nothing short of doodles, I feel I get my vision across. In this blog I would like to feature mostly fashion, but also beauty and fare as I live my life here in NYC. Enjoy.
